How to Join MODE

MODE is a Chapter of the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE). All MODE members must also be members of AADE.

It is strongly encouraged that you join MODE through the AADE website. (Easy to do at the same time as you join AADE! Once you've joined or renew AADE, just click on Member Center, then Chapter Center and find "Michigan" in the list.) For information click here.

Membership Dues

MODE ACTIVE MEMBER - $30.00
A health care professional with an interest in the development, delivery or administration of diabetes patient or professional education or in diabetes research. An active member shall have all the privilegesof membership including the right to vote, make nominations and serve on the Board of Directors.

MODE ASSOCIATE MEMBER - $30.00
Any person with an interest or involvement in diabetes education who does not qualify for another membership category, or a student of any of the health professions. Associate members shall not have the right to vote, make nominations or serve on the Board of Directors. Associate members may serve on committees, but not chair committees.

Membership Renewal

Renewal dues for MODE will be collected by the AADE. No renewal letters will be sent out by MODE. AADE will send your AADE and MODE renewal notification in May and a reminder in July.
